Morlith linked to This most excellent blog post about the raising of children, specifically boys. It has some of what I'd consider cruft, but overall is excellent.

I almost did the Ultimate in Yuppie. I put in an offer on a house on a golf course, but at this point it looks like I'm going to be outbid.
